The music is already chosen: PinkPantheress’ “Angel.”
As the latest release from Barbie The Album — the soundtrack of the upcoming Barbie movie — “Angel” is a heavenly track. Don’t let PinkPantheress’ soft vocals and dream pop instrumentals fool you, though.
There is heartbreak behind the track. PinkPantheress sings:

PinkPantheress has skyrocketed to success in the past year. She was featured on the album for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and beabadoobee’s Beatopia.
Most notably, she is the brains behind the smash hit “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” with Ice Spice. (Ice Spice also has her spot on the Barbie album, collaborating with Barbie herself, Nicki Minaj, on “Barbie World,” which is yet to be released).
