The cold winter weather is no match to NMF Dance‘s heat this week. Listen and melt away:

1. Cloonee, Young M.A., InntRaw: “Stephanie”

Young M.A.‘s hit “Stephanie” got a deep house makeover by Cloonee and InntRaw. The compressed, bumping bass complements Young M.A.’s deep voice, allowing it to be the star of the show. As if the original wasn’t catchy enough, this house remix brings a new danceability to the track while maintaining it’s iconic lyrics and adlibs.

2. Empire Of The Sun, ARTBAT: “We Are The People (ARTBAT Remix)”

Ukrainian DJ duo ARTBAT released a remix of Empire Of The Sun‘s “We Are The People.” It feels expansive and grand, alternating between serene, acoustic verses and florescent, full chorus sections. The vocals takes on several new forms, getting chopped and layered to perfection. Paired with unique visuals, this remix is a complete success.

3. Nora En Pure: “Polar Lights”

Swiss-based DJ Nora En Pure returned with her new single, “Polar Lights.” This techno track encapsulates the airy and mysterious nature of winter nights and northern lights. The core synths are round and soft, decorated with a subtle orchestra, chimes, and some sort of woodwind instrument that ripples through like a call from the wild.

4. Adam Beyer: “Life Is”

Sweden’s own Adam Beyer made a dark return with “Life Is.” This hard techno track radiates power with it’s bullet-like, crushed laser sounds and pounding bassline. The various alterations of the vocal sample add an engaging texture. And though jarring in some ways, the instrumental still keeps the listener in that sweet hypnotic zone.

5. ANATTA: “Love Me Down”

Rising minimal house DJ ANATTA released his stylish new single, “Love Me Down.” The core sample is from Atlantic Starr’s hit “Love Me Down,” bringing back the groove and funk of the early ’80s. The punchy percussion and wavy guitar stand out production-wise and act as the main drivers of the beat. Press play for a fun throwback!
