Red ignited my love for hard rock music in the way they add cinematic elements to their music. And they’ve done this for many others. They’ve spent the last two decades bringing a cinematic edge to hard rock. Their 2006 debut album, End of Silence, introduced the band to a wider audience with standout tracks like “Breathe Into Me” and “Already Over.” These tracks gained them a Grammy nomination and cemented the record as a landmark release in their career.
This style to their works gained them mass support all across the nation. And throughout the years, they became a staple in the rock music scene. Now it’s been twenty years since the release of their album, End of Silence, and fifteen since Until We Have Faces. We met up with them at the Aftershock Festival to discuss their impact on rock music since their start; as well as a few changes they’ve been navigating in the next upcoming chapter in their band’s journey.
