Mabel Announces Her New Album About Last Night... Out July 15th
Pop artist Mabel recently announced her new album, About Last Night… out July 15th via Capitol Records. The album features singles such as “Overthinking” (ft. 24k Goldn), “Let Them Know,” and “Good Luck.”

About Last Night… depicts the journey of the best night out that never was; full of anticipation at the beginning, and then its messy endings. Each track is about different stages and emotions during a night out, such as getting ready, the feeling of invincibility, clocking an ex, crying in the bathroom, and eventually stumbling home. Mabel takes these events and transforms them into something magical by focusing on these tiny, fleeting choices during this night out, along with those decisions that can be truly life-changing.
Throughout the album, Mabel switches up the modern pop style with influences spanning from the noughties club-culture (dance-pop, house, transatlantic R&B) to deeper themes of expression and inclusion. About Last Night… is Mabel’s artistic expression of processing her own, life-changing formative years growing up in the public eye, and taking charge of her narrative through this fantastical space.
Mabel first teased About Last Night…, with “Let Them Know,” an unapologetic anthem about dressing up with nowhere to go, and projecting confidence for anyone who needs it. The end of the music video shows a text Mabel received that simply says, “About Last Night…” as she smiles to herself.

The second single, “Good Luck,” distills influences of heartbreak and female solidarity into perfectly realized pop, while the third single, “Overthinking” exhibits a darker side of the album. “Overthinking” provides an escapist but unflinchingly honest snapshot of when nightlife meets social anxiety, and how to find your way back to yourself.
