EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Morningsiders On “I’ve Got A Song”

On June 17th, “NYC folk-pop act” Morningsiders released their latest album, I’ve Got A Song! It’s an excellent mix of folk and pop with just a twinge of Americana, and I highly recommend it. From “Bowery Ballroom” to “Nightingale,” I’ve Got A Song will take you on a journey with the three co-founders of the band – Magnus Ferguson, Reid Jenkins, and Robert Frech – through gorgeous string arrangements, excellent lyrical storytelling, and some of the most beautiful vocal harmonies imaginable. The journey ends on an excellent note with “Nightingale,” but you’ll want to take said journey over and over again.

On June 8th, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Magnus, Reid, and Robert to discuss I’ve Got A Song, their career trajectory through life’s changes, and how their sound has evolved over time (among other things). Check it out below!
