Let Majesty of Divinity Enchant Your “Mind Body Soul”
Majesty of Divinity, the magical winner of last year’s Glassetonbury, has released her breathtaking latest single, “Mind Body Soul.” She dominates the room with her fabulous personality, elite fashion sense, and ability to let loose and have fun when performing live. What makes her special is that she is able to channel this all into her recorded music as well. After an exciting 2022, where she pushed herself as an artist, it is clear that the work is paying off and her sound just keeps improving.
“Mind Body Soul” moves easily, producing a genuine and empowering listening experience. Majesty is clearly in tune with her music, combining vocal authenticity with catchy note changes and fluidity in the song’s direction. The middle of the song switches it up with the introduction of the piano. Alongside refreshing, deep breaths these lifting keyboard rifts elevate the song from electric to ethereal. Building from here, she dives into layered vocals versus the lyrical rap in the song’s primary half. Once this voice comes back and they all combine, it flows quite naturally. This year, Majesty has performed at standout events such as “Black and Queer as F*ck,” hosted by Aira Juliet in February, and “SISTERS IN SOUND,” hosted by Zie Haus in March. She has a brand deal with Aldo shoes and is an official artist at SXSW this year, a DJ event she has always dreamed of. The Austin based artist is one to keep an eye on as she continues to grow, inspire, and create a unique musical atmosphere.
