Kehlani and Bieber’s new single will keep you “up at night” and thirsty for more

Kehlani released “up at night”, an exclusive track with Justin Bieber to give us a taste of her upcoming 3rd album Blue Water Road dropping on April 29th!

The Bay Area R&B sensation has teamed up with the Biebs for the second time following their first collaborative success with “Get Me” for Justin’s album Changes in 2020. Together the power duo created the ideal sultry love song to listen to while daydreaming about your crush or serenading your S.O.. (Sorry Peanut, prepare your ears to listen to me perform it on repeat for the next few days.)

Kehlani tells us about the inspiration behind the song:

“It’s about having a healthily obsessed relationship. You’re telling someone, ‘I love you so much it keeps me awake at night’.

With a seemingly oriental-inspired intro that adds a surprising twist to an otherwise sweet and laid-back tune, we are instantly hooked. Extremely relatable and highly danceable thanks to Justin Bieber’s pop influence, the song is getting us excited for what other gems her new album Blue Water Road will hold. Up at night” isn’t the first song of the new feature to be released. Last year “little story” along with a music video and “alter”, were the first glimpses we got at the tone and style of the upcoming album.

So far, Blue Water Road seems to focus on the theme of romance and relationship with an overall ethereal, smooth, and sultry vibe that we’re getting from the songs. Set for release on April 29th, make sure you pre-order/pre-save/pre-add the album now.

In the meantime, you can check out “up at night”, now available on all streaming platforms. Still can’t get enough of Kehlani? How about looping in “little story” and “alter”. Get in touch with us on our socials and let us know which is your favorite song of her recent releases!
