Electro house and deep house DJ Tujamo shows off his signature infectiously sleek sound in his recent single “I Don’t Wanna Go” via Virgin Records.
Tujamo’s track record of smash singles is no joke. From hits like “Drop That Low (When I Dip)” to the Steve Aoki collaboration “Boneless”, the German producer/DJ has had his hands in a lot of major house releases throughout the years. Although this track differs in not having the same festival anthem qualities as those previously mentioned tracks, “I Don’t Wanna Go” still feels right at home at any club or living room. Featuring deep pluck basslines, catchy vocal hooks, and a distinctively smooth vibe, this track is a solid deep house showing from one of the biggest names in EDM. The vocals on this track is definitely one of the shining features, the pitched down tone combined with layers of thick reverb create an impressively immersive and icy sound.
According to Tujamo, this track comes with a lot of creative significance after the past year of quarantine due to COVID, “My new single ‘I Don’t Wanna Go’ is an exceptional song to me. Since the pandemic started, I had the time to really focus on my music and take my time in the studio to be creative. This single is the outcome of that and I’m thrilled with the result. The mixture of deep yet nostalgic beats combined with the string vocals makes the track very remarkable to me.”
After already releasing a string of wildly successful songs in the past year with collaborations from MAJAN, VIZE, and Kelvyn Colt, “I Don’t Wanna Go” is a great teaser of what we can expect from Tujamo’s sound going forward.
