A Look Into Fall Awake’s Single, “So Long, So Late”
Pennsylvania-formed rock band, Fall Awake, began their music journey in 2019. The band’s lineup consists of frontman/guitarist Austin Gray, lead guitarist Gavin DuBree, bassist Anthony Tassoni, and drummer Eric Skiles, and they’ve been making a name for themselves in the rock music scene.
While the artists have since released more tracks into the world, we are taking a moment to look into their single, “So Long, So Late,” an alternative rock tune charged from the classic sounds of the 00’s with their own fresh take on the sound. Beginning the melody, electric guitar riffs echo in the ears before soaring lead vocals take center stage. And before the second verse, rather than moving straight to the chorus, the song takes a moment to instrumentally showcase the melody further.
And the chorus hits harder in that sense, “pouring the gasoline” on the song’s intensity and hitting the emotional climax before breaking down into another instrumental interlude.
