Exclusive Premiere: Sandflower ft Unstoppable Death Machines releasing hot girl anthem “Quicksand” and music video

The music genre-fluid artist and powerhouse Sandflower has teamed up with the legendary art-punk rock band, Unstoppable Death Machines to give you the new hot girl summer anthem of 2022. “Quicksand” is an energetic and unique clash of rock meets electro-pop. The electrifying beats with a fiery sound come together to form the perfect ego-boosting jam to celebrate self-empowerment. In her first single of 2022, Sandflower is breaking away from her past toxic relationship and showing us how we can reclaim ourselves.

Quicksand’s song and video live near that feeling of delicious heartache. It’s the place right on the edge of chaos when a little adrenaline kicks in, and everything slows down a little bit and somehow you’re more alive and more human than you’ve ever been.

[This video contains flashing lights and may potentially affect people with photosensitivity.]As soon as the music video starts playing you are pulled into an underground techno party. The scenes alternate between dancing party-goers in an abandoned urban setting and Sandflower leaning against dark alleyways. The edgy urban flair and locations are heavily inspired by the singer’s Brooklyn roots and instantly give you that NYC nightlife FOMO.

The visuals perfectly capture the characteristic Sunflower sound: eclectic and powerful with a mystical essence. This whole piece is so uniquely Sandflower that you feel a sliver of her personality is being exposed in this explosive and eccentric setup: from the home-inspired backdrop to the daring street style to the electrifying energy that pulses with the beat. As soon as you hit play your mind is transported to this eternal party and you feel this confidence that you are quicksand and too good for all these toxic men out there. You feel fierce and kick-ass dancing to the energic melody of Unstoppable Death Machines accompanying the perky lyrics of Sandflower. We all need that little main character action moment every now and then, and “Quicksand” is here to deliver just that.

“Quicksand” is the first release of her upcoming EP The Quantum Seed. Sandflower’s new album speaks to the awakening of the self and is a manifestation of the vision for her otherworldly sound and draws heavy inspiration from Jimi Hendrix and quantum physics. That’s one of the most intriguing mixes, we’ve ever heard and can’t wait to explore!

Don’t miss out on “Quicksand”, it will be available on all major streaming platforms on May 6th, 2022.

Let Sandflower and Unstoppable Death Machines be the soundtrack to your major main character moment and tell us about it.
