The Governors Ball Music Festival will Bring the Best New York City Eats and Drinks in June
Founders Entertainment is announcing the incredible food vendor and beverage lineup for the 2022 Governors Ball Music Festival, set to take place Friday, June 10th through Sunday, June 12th at the Citi Field complex in Queens. All weekend long festival patrons can refuel with favorite eats from some of the best establishments New York City’s world-renowned food scene has to offer. Roberta’s Pizza, Big Mozz, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Sweet Chick, No Good Burger Joint, La Newyorkina, milk & cream cereal bar, Takumi Taco and many more will share the limelight with performances from artists including Kid Cudi, Halsey and J. Cole. Fans can also indulge in special collaborations including Frites Artois, a partnership with Stella Artois and celebrated chef Roy Choi, pairing Stella with pomme frites with a simple yet elevated twist. Festival partners Dunkin’ and MorningStar Farms will also be on hand at Governors Ball with samples for all. Millions of New Yorkers’ start their daily routine with Dunkin’ and that’s no different whether you’re headed to work or a kick ass music festival. Governors Ball patrons can stop by the Dunkin’ activation all weekend long for a treat or two to refuel on their way to the next set. MorningStar Farms have been making it tasty (and easy) to eat plant-based for 48 years and counting. Fans can pop by their set-up at the festival to sample their delicious plant-based Chik’n Tenders and Veggie Pepperoni Pizza Bites for a quick and yummy snack.
Beyond multiple free water stations throughout the grounds, there will be plenty of options on hand for ice cold drinks or libation. Music lovers can cool off with a Matcha lemonade from MatchaBar, or a fresh pressed offering from John’s Juice. Not to mention selections from JuneShine Hard Kombucha, Summer Water Rosé, and our loudest beer lineup yet! Bud Light and Bud Light Seltzer will be joined by up-and-coming Seltzer POPsicle sensations and Hard Soda along with a great selection of craft beers including Goose Island Beer Hug, Kona Big Wave, and our exclusive, custom-edition Governors Ball Summer Ale from our friends at Blue Point. Stella Artois will lean into its Belgian heritage with “Frites Artois.” Developed in collaboration with Chef Roy Choi, “Frites Artois,” turns the classic french fry into pomme frites with a simple yet elevated twist. The special collaboration will be available in tandem with a cold can of Stella.
Those in the mood for a delicious cocktail will find something to love as well. BACARDÍ will delight with their tropical Gov Ball Punch, while the bright and bubbly Aperol Spritz serves up refreshment. Patrón’s light and classic Perfect Paloma features Patrón Reposado alongside refreshing grapefruit and sparkling water, and on a summer day you can’t go wrong with Tito’s Vodka’s Tito’s Sparkling Lemonade. D’USSÉ cognac will be on hand with the D’USSÉ So Myself, a bold but balanced blend with pineapple and cranberry, and Gray Whale Gin will please the taste buds with the Whale Hello There, featuring fresh squeezed lemon juice, lime and agave to round out a cocktail program that surely has something for everyone.
