Dermot Kennedy has shared the Galantis Remix of his latest single, “Better Days” which is now out on Interscope Records/Island UK. The remix was released while Kennedy announced that he would support Shawn Mendes first leg of his 2022 North American “Wonder The World Tour,” to kick off June 27th in Portland and continue throughout the summer next year.

The recently released song “Better Days,” which is co-written by Dermot and the Grammy-nominated Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes), ROMANS, Daniel Nigro and previous collaborator Carey Willetts, with production by Nigro, is already climbing charts globally. “Better Days” addresses emotions that almost everyone is going through during the Pandemic. He beautifully vocalizes the thoughts of people around the world. The song aims to be a ray of hope during these hard times.

Kennedy is a global phenomenon; he is already wrapping up a sold-out run overseas after playing for over 90,000 fans in the UK. Kennedy is on a non-stop whirlwind of live U.S headline dates which also includes a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre show and Lollapalooza over the summer.  He also performed on October 1st and 8th at the Austin City Limits and at the Shaky Knees Festival on October 22nd he also dropped in at Atlanta’s Terminal West that evening.

Billboard lauded the song is as “a well-timed, uplifting pop ballad that reminds us all better days are ahead,” and the V Magazine agreed by saying, “it’s the grand declaration of “it gets better” tunes.” The track has already amassed over 16 million worldwide streams to date. Kennedy is known for his dynamic and powerful live performances, his performance of Truly Hard Seltzer’s “Truly Inspired” virtual concert series, which was streamed on the Live Nation Channel on Twitch earlier this month, had garnered a remarkable one million views just in the US.
