New York City’s sweetest indie-pop duo Ambrose Plante and Alina Luna are back with a new single that’s just about as sweet as they are when they duet. A follow-up to their earlier single from this year, “Tidal Waves,” this new single continues to showcase the duo’s charming and dynamic musical chemistry.

Although Ambrose and Alina come from different backgrounds, their love for music is a commonality that has brought them together to produce such lovely tracks. Alina is an Eastern European native who believes in bolding exploring one’s interests and being open-minded to many different cultures. She sings Ukrainian folk songs and performs in Russian, English, and Japanese. Ambrose is a New York native who believes in the power of being open to multiple perspectives to produce fresh ideas. He fuses elements of Latin, blues, EDM, and rock to create music that can unite people through listening, singing, and dancing.

“Blueberry Pie” is a song that wraps you up in a blanket of warmth and comfort. The feel-good vibe makes it a song that’s easy to appreciate and universal to play, whether you’re simply relaxing in your bedroom or gathering with loved ones. A stripped-down production focuses on evoking sentimental emotions. Swirling guitar strums and dazzling violin vibratos back the lovingly toned vocals. The lyrics are a beautiful back-and-forth exchange of promises between loved ones to be there for one another. There’s a peaceful sense of trust that can be picked up from the exchange as well as the tone set by the production. This is a track that’s pleasantly relaxing, much like the warm scent and sweet taste of a blueberry pie.
