Wuki is soaring into 2021 with his hard-hitting trap cut “Birdz” featuring Chicago, born, Miami, Florida based rapper Smokepurpp. These two artists, while staying in their respective lanes, have flocked together to collaborate on this boisterous, energetic single.
Through Smokepurpp‘s raw and rhythmic flow, he commands the track with the repeated motif, “Bring a lot of birdz out!” Distorted sounds and crafted bass beats by Wuki lay the ground work for this glitchy and grimey trap song. “Birdz” follows its own structure, taking you on a journey through the multiple different styles of beats Wuki showcases. Little snippets of traditional trap-sounding verses, grungier sections, build-ups and samples of majestic eagle calls make up the song.
Smokepurpp has worked with other huge artists as Offset and Lil Pump, and so is a massive addition to Wuki’s archive. You can expect to hear other industry heavyweights on Wuki‘s forthcoming debut album, like Diplo, Shaw, Juvenile, Stoppa, and more. “Birdz” is just a taste of what’s to come from this trap kitchen!
