WHETHAN RELEASES HIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED PROJECT “MIDNIGHT”

American DJ and producer Whethan has released an electronic hip-hop album titled Midnight. This album is packed with diverse genres fusing together to create a very unique album. With nine tracks on the album, Midnight was first pondered when Dancing Astronauts “Think You Right feat. ericoda and glaive was called an “interesting combination” and has synthesized vocals against a pop-guided backtrack with a heavy electronic influence. This song was acclaimed to be the beginning of a new era not only for Whethan but for music in general. The album also includes his recent singles such as “Complicated feat. aldn and 8485.” The single was released with a music video and Dancing Astronauts deemed “Complicated” as one of Whethan’s best songs to date with its exhilarating electric guitar to help set the tone. The album also features the song “2 Much feat. Jasiah and Ka$hdami.” and a new stand-out track “Lock It Up feat. Yeat, midwxst and Matt Ox.” Lastly, the project features the single “Mental feat. Slump6s and glaive.”

“Mental” arrived earlier in the year and was accompanied by a music video. When “Complicated” was released, Whethan received widespread praise including from Ones to Watch. They said Whethan has really solidified himself as an artist especially as an electronic music producer. Forming an alliance with multiple artists to collaborate on music that’ll catch you off guard and make you rethink everything you thought you knew about electronic music. Ones to Watch stated that both songs have showcased his as a risk-taker and it is definitely paying off.

MIDNIGHT in its entirety was made during the lock down and inspired by the up and coming wave of music. These are some of my favorite songs made to do date and I hope everyone will be able to resonate with a track off this project.”
