After the release of the critically acclaimed album JAGUAR in 2020, grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer Victoria Monét surely has carried over the momentum and energy into 2021 with new single “F.U.C.K.” In 2020 was able to work on many chart-topping hits such as “Do It” by Chloe X Halle, “Rather Be” by Brandy, “Ice Cream” by BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez, and the single and remix of “34+35” with Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, and Megan the Stallion.

Monét’s music is widely recognized and praised for its ongoing expressions of feminine sexuality being enjoyed and expressed in the same way that we have previously seen men talk about the same topics through out previous years in music and pop culture. Monét’s unapologetic forwardness and tasteful explicitness is a breath of fresh air for today’s modern woman. Her sensual, atmospheric voice is the perfect instrument to carry out this new age mindset on romantics and situationships. The new single is ultimately a classic R&B song but enhanced by incorporating more modern influenced pop elements through the vocal simplicity and electric guitar.

Monét shares, “’F.U.C.K.’ is a nod to the millennial and gen Z mindset. We do not have to be confined to traditional commitment ideals, and instead, embody the freedom to be intimate when and with whom we mutually, please! I wanted to give that non-binding friendship intimacy an official name…the way we see it, if you’re never in a relationship, you technically can never break up. It’s forever fun, it’s playful, it happens. So…F.U.C.K. it!”
