A beautiful flower dancing in the wind, singer/ songwriter extraordinaire Veyah captivates us with her latest single ‘Better Than The Boys’. Released March 8th in all streaming platforms worldwide. Veyah let’s us into a world starring close friends who are in the throes of delving deeper into a relationship. Coming from the heels of a tumultuous one, girl meets girl in the most unexpected way. Friends still but this time on fire; their souls and bodies intertwine for the first time. This is followed by the words “Promise I could love you better than the boys do… if you want to”. Ahh how could you say no to that.
While Veyah’s ‘Better Than The Boys’ is seductive in nature which is accentuated by her smooth vocals and addicting instrumentals. It goes further and sheds light on the fact that a huge part of love is being there not just physically also emotionally. Yes be romantic and touchy (to an extent), but please don’t stop there. That’s not how a healthy relationship works. Instead have an open line of communication and an understanding that the both of you can talk about anything under the sun. Be mature enough to respect each other’s opinions and be willing to compromise if needed. Perhaps then, less hearts will break and love will once and for all prevail.
