NJ-based hip-hop artist and producer Trust Tate is looking to make genuinely truthful music while still giving the fans what they crave. He has an interesting story to tell: at 7-months-old, he was hit by stray gunfire. As he continues to share the stories from that one through now, he continues to grow as an artist through studying piano with hopes of studying DJing next. He hopes to host his own events and plans to release an album every 2 months. His newest album, Walk In The Park, will be out on the 1st day of summer this year, June 21, 2021. It will be packed with good vibes for listeners to enjoy with the summer heat.

“Who Is There Left To Believe In?” was a track released last year that grew out of a question Trust wanted to answer. His whole life, he was taught by people in his life that love is conditional. He was taught that you can’t trust family to be like it is portrayed in movies, books, nor TV. He grew up learning that people only like you as long as you’re not doing better than them. This track his reaction to that reality.
A delicate backing track lays the foundation for this haunting track. Taking a very pulled back approach to this track, Trust raps in a very smoky tone, balancing out the lighter instrumental elements. He reflects on the question at hand – who is there left to believe in – as he recounts how that question has influenced the decisions he has made. He showcases the struggle of not knowing who to trust in the darker and more melancholy vibe of the track.
