Indie rocker talker tells all in “TWENTYSOMETHING.”
The angsty anthem bursts with energy, spilling all the secrets about what it means to be a young adult. Sure, everything’s going to work out in the end. But in the meantime, it definitely does not feel like it.
This song is me giving myself permission to be frustrated, to say “what the f**k,” and to kick something. I know that I’ll still have to pay off my credit card and open a high yield savings account, but in this moment, if I can get people to sing out their rage with me, that’s all I need.
~ talker (Celeste Tauchar)
From losing parents’ health insurance to having to figure out what to do with your life, your twenties are a tough stage of life. That’s why talker crafted this hit: “for those moments when everything is going wrong — and allowing yourself to be pissed about it,” she says.
With solid driving drums and rocking electric guitar, talker’s belting morphs into a chant about all her problems stacking up. Tap your foot to this dynamic tune because talker’s chaos and edginess is infectious. talker lets listeners into her innermost thoughts, a type of confessional that sounds like screaming and dancing in the mirror when you’re not sure what else to do.
They say self-soothing is key
But I tried screaming in my pillow
And it didn’t do a thing~ “TWENTYSOMETHING”

“TWENTYSOMETHING” is the first track off talker’s upcoming debut album this June, adding to her solid discography with three EPs out to date. Fans can look forward to monthly drops, along with spring and summertime tours to look out for.
The artist will continue exploring herself through music, from breakups to bisexuality and from trauma to her Mormon upbringing.
