Speaking on “Ray Of Solar,” Swedish House Mafia broke down what makes the track special and its meaning to them, saying,
“Happy to be back with a song that takes us places! Once we recorded these vocals we really got transcended to space. We listened to it on repeat all night and imagined floating in space. This is the summer record for us and even though we’ve heard it a million times and still feel the power of it, it’s a really special one, the unique vocal with our style of writing melodies makes it special! Doing this together with Tove was incredible as we really felt we gave it a true Nordic sonic landscape. We love every second of it and can’t wait for the world to hear it!”
Comprised of three legends in their own rite, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell, Swedish House Mafia is one of the top-tiered EDM acts of all time. Having come out of retirement in 2022 after splitting up in 2013, the trio has returned wholeheartedly to producing and touring, with multiple dates all across the road scheduled over the next coming months. “Ray Of Solar” follows “See The Light” featuring Friday, and both are seen as part of a buildup to a new album soon to come. “Ray Of Solar” is available now for streaming on all platforms and whisks one right back to the glory days of Swedish House Mafia.
