Anjunadeep Sets the Bar as First Label to Sell Out Red Rocks Amphitheater

Anjunadeep, the renowned melodic house label, has carved its name in history as the first record label to achieve a sold-out headlining show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater. The venue, with a capacity of over 9,000 people, is the site of many iconic performances from a variety of smash-hit artists. It is no small feat that Anjunadeep was able to be the first label to sell out a venue that has been open to the public and artists since 1941.

Following the resounding success of their sold-out show, Anjunadeep is gearing up for a triumphant return to Red Rocks on November 3, 2024. This marks the label’s second consecutive year headlining the Morrison, Colorado venue. They are set to curate another stellar lineup of artists, promising an unforgettable experience. The Red Rocks Amphitheater, famed for its natural rock structure, provides an unparalleled live concert experience. Throughout its illustrious history, Red Rocks has hosted a number of legendary acts. Some of their most notable include The Beatles, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Grateful Dead, U2, and Daft Punk. The venue’s relationship with dance music dates back to the iconic Rave On The Rocks featuring Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim in 1999. Over the years, Red Rocks has welcomed basically every major electronic music headliner, from Swedish House Mafia to Skrillex. Anjunadeep’s accomplishment, however, stands out as the first time a record label brand has taken center stage at this iconic amphitheater.

Steeped in music history, Red Rocks has become a milestone venue for dance music artists. It almost shouldn’t work, considering it has stairs in place of a dance floor, but the amphitheater format brings the audience right up to the stage and hugs everyone together between two outcrops of majestic red sandstone. It makes 9,200 people feel intimate, something we strive for as our label events grow. Established in London in 2005 by Above & Beyond and manager James Grant, Anjunadeep initially served as a platform for records with a deeper, progressive sound.
