It’s already mid-January but the fireworks in the music industry still rings loudly. Music fans and aficionados out there are having a blast and who could blame them? With all the great EPs, singles, videos, and music related content being released at a rapid pace. It’s easy to get lost in this wonderful world and spend hours on end getting high with these awesome beats. Can’t rest now because, here comes another that could tickle your fancy and it comes in the form of the dynamic alt pop duo from Glasgow SAINT PHNX. With their single Happy Place which has already garnered 10 million streams and has seen a steady rise in UK radio. It’s about time that different parts of the world partake of this masterpiece and experience their talent for themselves. This also comes from their EP with same name and is set to release worldwide on January 28th.

Just like its namesake, this latest offering takes their audience to their respective happy places upon listening to it. “Over the hills and far away” as the song would say, brothers Stevie and Allan invite to leave worries behind and go for an adventure in search for happiness. This is their little invitation to experience something magical and beautiful and in the process the healing of weary hearts and mind. The journey won’t be easy, but it’s worth it because at the end of it all awaits a better day. A shining moment that we could finally say that we’ve triumphed. It’s the ultimate reward for all the tears and sweat shed throughout that pilgrimage. Once that happy place is reached, all the fears, and sorrow will turn into laughter and joy.
It doesn’t stop there because as for our musical heroes, they’ve created this song not just as an anthem of positivity but first and foremost an ode to their late father. This is their love letter to their parent they’ve loved dearly and held closely to their hearts. This is more than just a song for them, rather it is their way of immortalizing the memory of that shining star they’ve once called father. Disease, and death may have come, but the fact of the matter is no matter what happens their father will always be their happy place.
As for the EP itself, it is released under Atlantic Records and boasts of a set of 6 songs named A Happy Place, Peace, Invisible, A Happy Place Feat. Jasmine Thompson, Blue Feather, and Angel. All of which are for sure to tug on your heartstrings, and at the same time dare to look even harder at the society we live in. Speaking of dares, being a passive observer won’t cut it because they too poke our sides as if urging to make a move. Be the spark to create positive change in yourself and in the community, you live in. You may be one, but you are not alone. You are not weak, because you are stronger than you think. You are a hero, and you don’t need superpowers to make a difference.
Luck of the Irish on their side and blessed with pure unbridled talent, this twin aces are sure to set the world’s stage on fire for years to come. As their band name would suggest, they are a fiery phoenix primed to blast off and conquer. They possess that top notch musicality, lyrical genius, and major heart going for them. The best part of it all is they do these things effortlessly. No pretense here, just pure burning love for family, and their shared craft. As much as they are talented and have that magnetic personality to boot. This sibling duo has that desire to be the best and it shows all through their brief history as musicians. Since 2016, they’ve worked hard at it performing in countless gigs, and one might say that they’ve crossed U.S soil to write songs. As years passed, they served the single “King”, which currently has 19 million Spotify streams and counting. To add to their list of growing accomplishments, last 2020 they unveiled their independent full-length album entitled DDMN all while touring with Yungblud and opening for acts such as Lewis Capaldi and Imagine Dragons to name a few. These qualities when combined is the perfect storm that makes music enthusiasts and fans from the world over to swoon with delight. Not only that, but these are also the ingredients needed to have a long and illustrious career.
