Just on the horizon, Northern Californians and the like will be joining together at Sacramento’s Discovery Park for a weekend packed with heavy-hitters of rock and metal. Featuring headliners such as Cypress Hill, the original lineup of The Misfits, and two nights of Metallica, fans have anticipated this weekend for two years.
With classic rock legends joining the stage, such as Anthrax, Volbeat, Seether, and much more, the up-and-comers are who we are most excited to see. Des Rocs will be joining as a part of his first ever headlining tour. cleopatrick, with a fresh album, will be sure to rock out through the afternoon. Fit For A King has also been going as strong as ever since their latest album release. And this is just to name a few of the great offerings Aftershock has to bring us on this year.
Tomorrow, October 7th, the festival will kick off and last throughout the end of the weekend. The Sacramento heat seems to have dissipated just for us. Throughout the rest of the week, the high temperatures will reach the mid seventies and make for a pleasurable season of good music, great food, and a time we can all escape the craziness in this big world.
