Preme Keem, SheWitDaShitz, and Chief Lou Drop Rap Single “Walk”
If you’re searching for the perfect pregame song, look no further. Preme King, Chief Lou, and SheWitDaShitz collaborated on one track to bring you one of the best turn up songs you can find on God’s internet. Released on March 31st, “Walk” is a bouncy, high energy rap single that will have you up out of your seat in the first 5 seconds of listening.
“Walk” wastes no time, immediately jumping into the rhythmic, pounding beat. The production is extraordinary, with layered elements of trap, hip-hop and early 2000’s influence. At 20 seconds, though, is when the party starts. The beat picks up, adding more and more instrumental layers to the production. I wish I could compare “Walk” to another song of the same genre, but I can’t. The track is ambitious and original, and leaves me wanting more from this group. It’s a song that you want to play when you’re getting ready for a party with friends, going out for the night, or even just at the gym.
However, there has to be an honorable mention for SheWitDaShitz. She rides the beat flawlessly, out-rapping a lot of mainstream artists that I can think of. I can’t get enough of her energy on the track -she is really the glue holding everything together. She’s a boss, and her lyricism reflects that. Her counterparts Preme King and Chief Lou match her vibe and carry the rest of the song with their unbeatable flow and style. Overall, “Walk” will most likely be the song that you make memories to this summer.
