PHIL THE BAND RELEASES TOUCHING POP PUNK SINGLE “BE SOMEBODY”
Arizona-based musicians Phil the Band have just released their new pop punk single in late April of 2023 with a very relatable personal meaning. “Be Somebody” touches base on not only losing someone close to you but ultimately using that sadness and pain to better yourself in the long run. “Be Somebody” is all about self-reflection with the lyrics showcasing the message of just be someone that you are proud of. With lyrics like “nobody’s safe when all the wolves are hungry” the song tells the story about the day to day struggles of growing up in a capitalistic society where we’re all running the same rat race. Absolutely love a song you can rock out to with its catchy sick guitar, raspy filled grunge vocals and a message that everyone needs to hear.
