As Nashville-based alt. rock band, Betcha, eases their way through quarantine, they seem to never stop creating.

Their latest single, “Déjà Vu,” is a simple and crunchy bop with lyrics to make the romantic heart soar with ideals of the nervous new love, the startling feelings of familiarity with the other person, and the struggle of breaking routine in a relationship.

The four-piece band captures the intimate details of summery warmth and plunging into the seas of the unknown in love, and finding comfort in the familiar routine while the world roars around you. “If you going down/I’m going too/It’s just what we do,” vocalist Charlie Green sings.

The single was paired with a visual lyric video, featuring the band in a house of mirrors as they danced with the lyrics of the track beside them.

Recently, the band announced the release of their highly anticipated sophomore EP, Feels Like We’ve Been Here Before. The album will be available on Friday, October 16th, including “Déjà Vu,” and “Closer To The Sun.”

Last month, the perfect sunny-day-road-trip soundtrack, “Closer to the Sun” dropped last month, accompanied by a brilliantly produced official video. In addition, a stripped-down “Closer To The Sun (Acoustic Version)” is now available for streaming.

The band hopes to return to the road when it is safe to do so, but recently performed on social media for the fundraiser “Jam In YOUR Van.” All proceeds benefit the Sweet Relief Musician‘s COVID-19 Fund. The band has released the full performance, available at the link HERE.
