Aftershock fans worldwide have been anticipating the release of this year’s lineup after the initial announcement with Iron Maiden as one of the headliners late last year. As of Wednesday, February 28th, the full lineup has been announced. The festival will return to Discovery Park in Sacramento, CA October 10-13 this year for the biggest lineup yet. The 4-day destination festival will feature the only U.S. festival play for Iron Maiden. It will also showcase an exclusive West Coast performance for Slayer–one of only three shows in nearly 5 years–Slipknot as one of the number one requested bands, and the first Aftershock appearance for Mötley Crüe, making it an event not to be missed!
It’s the 12th year for the festival, and wow, it’s going to be a strong year. We personally look forward to seeing rising artists such as Poppy, Nothing More, grandson, Winona Fighter, Lø Spirit, Veil of Maya, Lilith Czar and so much more. See my live reaction to seeing Poppy on the lineup.

In 2023, the sold out Aftershock hosted 160,000 music fans from all 50 states, 40 countries, and every continent except Antarctica, creating millions of dollars in economic impact for the region. The festival is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, which is one of the largest independent producers of destination music festivals in America.
“We couldn’t be more excited that Sacramento has become synonymous with the largest rock festival on the West Coast. The city is ready to welcome fans for four days packed with more than 130 bands and unforgettable live music experiences.”
