Maximo Refreshes the Modern Tech House Scene with “Your Love”

Maximo mixes the sounds of modern tech house and gritty ʼ90s acid house in one of his best productions yet, “Your Love,” via deadmau5’s house-focused label, hau5trap.

My favorite part about this track is that it was influenced by multiple genres within the house realm and nothing sounds just like it. It’s refreshing and original.

This single release is a strong follow-up to tracks from earlier this year like “Wanna Dance” and “Feel Alright.” Maximo has even performed next to big names like Diplo, Gorgon City, Kaskade, and more, and he’s surely earned his spot among these killer artists. The producer’s debut EP, I Want You, with Hood Politics Records, took the number one global slot on Beatport under Tech House releases in 2022, but the best is yet to come.
