Diplo and Paul Woolford drop dance single, “Promises” ft. Kareen Lomax

For the second time, Diplo, Paul Woolford, and Kareen Lomax drop a masterful dance hit, “Promises” from Diplo’s deep house label Higher Ground, released on September 28, 2021. The trio’s first collaborative hit “Looking for Me” was released last year, which has reached #1 on U.S. Dance Radio, #18 on Billboard’s Dance Chart, and hit Platinum in the UK. Megastar in the EDM industry and pop star icon, Diplo (Thomas Wesley Pentz) has achieved success as a producer and businessman, a member of the iconic Major Lazer, including work with Sia and Labrinth LSD group. Diplo hit songs earned him two Grammys “Electricity” ft. Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, and “Where Are Ü Now” as Jack Ü with Skrillex. A legendary electronic underground producer and DJ, British Paul Woolford has been shuffling from club scenes to festivals and recreating music for over 20 years. Woolford’s most popular tracks are “Stolen,” Carl Craig, “You Already Know“, “Hang Up Your Hang Ups,” perhaps his big break came after releasing “Erotic Discourse” Bobby Peru in 2006. Woolford has recently gained success remixing music for artists, creatives, and films such as Virgil Abloh, CamelPhat, Solardo, New Order, Fendi, Depeche Mode, Givenchy, Dua Lipa, Chemical Brothers, François Kevorkian, and many more. Up and comer R&B artist Lomax’s success story has been a lifetime of lessons, leading singer-songwriter to take a break altogether. In 2016, Kareen uploaded her debut EP Vendettas to SoundCloud. The following year released, “Melatonin,” an emotionally sincere, vulnerable, and beautifully composed track. Lomax continued as a songwriter, wrote Maroon 5 single “Nobody’s Love”, received gold and platinum, she then released a 7-track EP titled  “Hard Feelings” in May 2021.

Fast forward, Diplo, Woolford“Promises” is a feel-good dance song, mixing house, euphonious vocals from Lomax. The video is a visual art performance glowing with bright lights and an animated character. The trios combining talents have served amazingly this year, they could possibly be the next EDM group of this generation.
