Why Kami Kehoe’s Sound is Resonating with Millions

Drummer, songwriter, and producer Kami Kehoe is a fearless spirit with a creative passion for music. That much is evident the second you hit play on any of her music. People around the world are starting to take note as latest EP, Kandy, has hit millions of streams just a few weeks after its release.

Kami’s raw, genre-bending style fuses the energy of punk, alt-pop vulnerability, and rock grit. And it has clearly struck a chord with fans across the globe. What makes it more incredible is her journey to making it happen: teaching herself to produce, building tracks in a bedroom studio, and leaning into her instinct rather than trends. Kami is part of a new wave of artists showcasing a vulnerability and connection throughout social media that’s unmatched from rock music generations before.

We had the pleasure of chatting with her on Zoom to talk about the release and the journey that got her there.
