UK artist Ads Valu teams up with Hindi artist D10SON for a good summer track. “Carefree” has an international feel as well that’s sure to be a hit anywhere in the world. It’s a smooth, catchy commercial hip-hop song that actually sounds cool. Usually I’m quick to hit “next” for this genre, but this track is a bit too suave to pass up. I really dig the vibe and especially the bilingual elements. D10SON delivers a sliky verse in Hindi.
The track puts “not caring what others think” at the forefront of everything, and that’s always a mood we can get behind, especially after such a tough year full of crazy obstacles. “Carefree” debuted on BBC Asian Network on May 27th, 2021. Ads was also the BBC Introducing Artist of the Week when it debuted, so definitely keep an eye out for this emerging UK artist!
