“It Was Real” – Or Was It?

Hailing from Froggio, Italy, 3-piece Keplero brings to the masses “It Was Real,” a collaboration with Evergreen to showcase the European electronic dreamscape. With elements reminiscent of Tycho in the first half of the track, it definitely starts to resemble the ambiance of Bonobo’s Migration album toward the end. The soft sounds and subtle transitions make this song all the more intriguing as it continues on. It takes you through a trance experience, filling listeners’ ears with light-hearted samples and hearts with a steady, energetic beat.

The title along with the very peculiar visual insinuate a dream world, not too far off from reality, but not quite life as we know it. If you’re looking to get lost in a truly vibey moment and want a visualizer to accompany said moment, look no further. “It Was Real” by Kepler is for anyone who likes the soundscapes of artists like Tycho, Bonobo, and RÜFÜS DU SOL. The song is a part of a larger project, Keplero‘s full length album CMD-Z, so if you liked this, then make sure to check out the rest!
