HighSchool Jacob Drops New Single “Not Worth Dying 4”

Los Angeles indie-pop artist HighSchool Jacob recently released his third single of 2020 with “Not Worth Dying 4.” Coming off the heels of “Die 4 U” and “Stacey,” his latest song takes a notably darker tone/feel than his previous two 2020 tracks.

The former Wesleyan music student kicks off “Not Worth Dying 4” with an eerie, meticulous intro that builds through the first verse to a banger of a chorus. Credit where it’s due, the hook is a definite ear-worm. Listen to this a few times and then tell me you don’t randomly start singing “RUNNIN’! RUNNIN’! Runninnnnnnn'” throughout the rest of the day. Tight harmonies and aggressive hits help this song achieve a nice peak coming out of the second verse.

It takes a minute to really kick into gear, but this is a solid song that rewards the patient. Stream it or add it to your Spotify playlist below!
