This past Friday a new song hit the streaming platforms that may need to make its way into everyone’s summer playlist. Echoey percussive licks that descend in a waterfall fashion, exotic bird call samples, and the future-bass EDM sound of Sidepiece‘s newest release, “Acrobatic“, creates the ambiance of a jungle party, to say the least. April 30th, 2021 marked the day of Grammy-nominated duo Sidepiece’s debut release with Insomniac Records, an EDM label falling under the umbrella of Insomniac Music Group.

Acrobatic” has been a much anticipated single from this duo after they teased the track during their “Kiss & Tell” livestream performance with Insomniac last September. It’s an infectious deep house cut with rugged bass lines, groovy rhythms and intricate melodies that will sound even more delicious through the speakers at their sold-out Red Rocks set with Diplo in just a few weeks! If you haven’t grabbed tickets to the May 12th or 13th dates to hear it live, then you’ll just have to check out where you can buy or stream “Acrobatic.”

“This was one of the first records we  made together as SP. It’s so cool to finally have it come out. It’s been one of our most requested songs and a fan favorite at shows. Excited for it to be out in the world.”

Acrobatic” follows the release of their single “Temptation,” which has achieved much success on Spotify, reaching 2 million streams to date, as well as finding placements in playlists including Operator and Housework. Sidepiece has continued their meteoric rise in house music with record-breaking singles including their Grammy-nominated track “Off My Mind” with Diplo. Instantly becoming a global success, “Off My Mind” has surpassed the 100-million streams mark on Spotify, peaked at #1 on the US Dance Radio airplay chart, spent 21 weeks in Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, and become a viral TikTok phenomenon.
