The Grammy Premiere event will kick off the nights of glitz and glam and everything music. This event, according to the Recording Academy website, is “hosted by Justin Tranter and will feature performances by Adam Blackstone, Brandy Clark, Sheila E., Kirk Franklin, Robert Glasper, J. Ivy, Bob James, Laufey, Terrace Martin, Harvey Mason Sr., Gaby Moreno, Pentatonix, Larkin Poe, and Jordin Sparks. Presenters include Patti Austin, Jimmy Jam, Natalia Lafourcade, Carly Pearce, Molly Tuttle, and Rufus Wainwright,” as stated on the website. The premiere event will include roughly 15 artists. It will be live-streamed on” live.GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel starting at 12:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. ET,” as previously stated by the Recording Academy where you will have the opportunity to hear those golden Gampahone winners before the celebrities hit the red carpet a mere couple hours later.
After the conclusion of this opening event would be the night of many artists’ dreams and goals, the Grammy Award ceremony. According to the Recording Academy website, “The Grammys telecast will air live on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. ET | 5 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network and will stream live and on-demand on Paramount +”. The award show will be more available on these television platforms, and the ceremony will be streamed on “Live.GRAMMY.com” so you can still be in the loop of which of your favorite artists will be taking home the golden gramophone.
The nominees and the performers will share the spotlight during the ceremony on this night of musical celebration. The performers headlining this night of musical celebration are “Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, Joni Mitchell, SZA, and U2,” as stated by the Recording Academy. These artists will also have the opportunity to take center stage during the ceremony to perform their top hits for all music junkies alike. Also taking the stage as the host of the night full of glitz and glam is South African comedian and writer Trevor Noah.
However, if you want to capture the action truly, the red carpet ceremony is always a must-watch for any music fans. “Head to Live.GRAMMY.com or the Recording Academy’s Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube accounts to catch the GRAMMY Live special, hosted by Alina Vission and Amanda Kloots, where you’ll enjoy exclusive red carpet interviews and more starting at 6 p.m. ET | 3 p.m. PT on GRAMMY Sunday” as stated by the Recording Academy. So you can capture these artists firsthand, see those stunning red carpet looks, and hear words of inspiration and wisdom from your favorite music artists. The list of individuals taking the stage to present the Golden Gramophone includes “Christina Aguilera, Lenny Kravitz, Lionel Richie, Mark Ronson, Maluma, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Tomlinson, and Samara Joy,” as stated on the Recording Academy’s website.
Overall this night of musical celebration will be one for the books, and it shall leave many music junkies feeling happy, sad, and everything in-between.
