When we started ‘Lockdown,’ we wanted it to be a sequel to ‘Hey Papi.’ The key part was using some of our favorite sounds from the first record and using them again in a new and interesting way. We feel we pulled that off with this one! Once the skeleton was written, we reached out to Chase to do some vocals for us. We really wanted to make sure we had something original! After we received the vocals the rest came together nicely!
