BIJOU and Drezo reunite for their newest track “Goons.” Both have made a mark on the bass house music scene, creating all the more excitement for the release.
BIJOU and Drezo have a deep history, sharing days as Arizona locals and DJs who worked together. Drezo moved to Los Angeles, while the latter chose to stay. Though they took separate paths, the two remained in touch in ways they could. Years later, as Drezo gained attention and went on tours, BIJOU became the first to open for some of his shows.
Connection turned into collaboration, and the pair of friends created their first song. It speaks to their friendship and their ambitions of wanting to make something that represents Pheonix roots in a fresh and unique way.
Both BIJOU and Drezo have made quite the mark on the house and bass house scene, so it’s no surprise “Goons” goes off in a big way. The single is a dynamic fusion of dark, bass-heavy house elements with intricate production. Incorporating both artists’ signature styles, the track is transformed into one cohesive summer anthem.
BIJOU proved he is a smashing hit, completing the Stay Fly headline tour alongside Marten Horger. He also won the prestigious EDM Award for “Bass House Song of the Year” with his track “I Know”. 2023 is turning out to be an even better year, with plans for 100 shows and lots of new music.
Drezo also achieved significant milestones, boasting sold-out shows for his 2023 Australia tour. Fans can also anticipate new music, now working with his newly launched label, Omens Records.
Big things are coming for both Drezo and BIJOU, so make sure to follow both artists on Instagram and follow along on their shows. Also, check out their discographies on Spotify, which shouldn’t be too hard.
