BONZE RELEASES HIS FOURTH SINGLE OF 2022 “(MERCEDES)”
No, this song is not about the fancy car, Bonze wrote it about an actual person named Mercedes. Reaching 1,000 streams in one day, the London-based singer expressed that “(Mercedes)” is his most personal song yet. It is his fourth single in 2022 via bad apple records. Every single Bonze has released this year has had a color tied to it and for “(Mercedes)” he has chosen pink. Well, little miss pink Mercedes gives fans just a taste of what upcoming music will sound like for Bonze.
Bonze co-wrote his new single with his boy Fred and Joseph Payne. He first premiered the single on Scruff of the Neck LIVE twitch to 20,000 viewers. Bonze wanted to capture his emotion/experience for her with an electronic techno pop sound. The way the song titled is displayed gives the narrative that it is about a certain someone but her name is never actually mentioned. The lyrics hold feelings of uncertainty, loneliness, commitment all stitched together with vocals emulating sultry. A sensual easy on the ears track that captures so much in a little over three minutes.
