JEHAN ASSRIA PROUDLY SHARES PROJECT “MACHINE” FT. JOEY DIGGS JR.
Songwriter and visionary, Jehan Assria just released her single “Machine” ft. Joey Diggs Jr. and it is her proudest project to date. A pop single full of vibrancy and compelling statement of standing up for those misunderstood by the world around them. Her new single was inspired by Michael Jackson and The Weeknd for their vocal style. When listening to the music you can very clearly hear that similar vocal style. Joey delivered powerful vocals exuding the message Jehan wants to portray to listeners. Joey captured the sound and provides “Machine” with a voice as well. “Machine” is dedicated to her late father who always wanted to see her pursue her dreams, Jehan took part in the whole process of this creation.
“I wanted to shine light on the hate that we unfortunately endure in this world. Let’s continue to spread love to one another. I just wish my dad was here to see the music video. I appreciate all of your support”

From the writing to filming the music video, Jehan meticulously designed this project to go beyond music. The single is linked to a music video that perfectly executes the issues of people from all backgrounds facing discrimination. The project also contributes to STEM highlighting science, technology and humankind when female scientists (played by Cami Storm) brings this machine to life only to have society reject it. A necklace can be spotted in the video that her father gave her when she was nine years old. The necklace actually inspired the music logo. The music video won “Best Music Video” in Top Shorts film festival. Extremely powerful, heartbreaking and moving. I think her father would be extremely proud of her.
