Norwegian singer, songwriter, and record producer, AURORA, recently released her latest single toward the next chapter in her music journey. Beginning with a debut EP, Running with the Wolves, in 2015, in which the title single recently gained traction on TikTok and amassed millions of new streams on Spotify, AURORA’s back in the creative music realm.

Recent projects include her involvement in Frozen 2’s soundtrack as the voice of the wind calling out to Elsa in “Into the Unknown,” and her last dreamy single, “Exist for Love,” where she dances on a seashell much like the Botticelli painting “Birth of Venus” in the music video.

Introducing the next chapter in her music journey, AURORA releases “Cure For Me,” a beautiful statement on humanity and the state of the world. Watch the music video, which she co-directed with Sigurd Fossen, below:

Beginning the video, we see through a crystal ball a preview of her last music video, recorded at home during the peak of lockdown with materials she built with her own two hands. We are then taken a look into a funhouse mirror of her own design, where she sings with a group of masked figures of self love and promotes a positive self image.

Sometimes I feel like the whole world Is trying to convince you something is wrong with you. And sadly often people believe this to be true. It is very frightening how easy it is for someone to convince you that you are wrong. Or that you are overly emotional, too strange, and not good enough. And I think it’s about time we shut those voices out. Because in no way should anyone convince you that you are not worthy because of the way you look, act, your faith, or the way you are born to love. We should be allowed to be human. And we don’t need a cure for it.
