Antras Adds Trap Flavor to Remix of “Drugs n Hella Melodies” by Don Toliver ft. Kali Uchis

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Antras is an electronic dance music producer known for his crafty R&B revivals. Since going public with his project, Antra has released several tracks that have been featured on global Spotify playlists, charted on The Hype Machine, and garnered attention from social media influencers. After using time during the global pandemic to focus on recrafting his sound, he boldly encompassed everything his project is known for in his remix of “Drugs n Hella Melodies” by Don Toliver ft. Kali Uchis.

With a focus on future bass sound design, Antras uses bright and airy synth melodies and hard-hitting drum and bass to bring an air of mystery to the original track. Paring down the original vocals, the atmosphere takes on more of a vibe similar to early energy from The Weeknd as distorted vocals float between the trap beats and future bass lines. The result is a chilled atmosphere with punctuated depth from the bass design. Antras’s remix of “Drugs n Hella Melodies” is the perfect track for late-night hangs, as it’s easily digestible and catchy, but keeps you hooked with the flow of the sound.
