Announcing Benefit Concert Series “Re:SET” for Climate Justice

Big names Boygenius, Steve Lacy, and LCD Soundsystem pledge to support the planet this summer by partnering with Propeller and AEG Presents for “Re:Set,” a series of benefit concerts. The artist-curated concerts will run across twelve cities, all at outdoor venues in the upcoming summer of 2023. Propeller asks fans and attendees to contribute to a variety of charitable causes, namely NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) plus PTM Foundation, Sounds Of Saving, and Headcount nationally, as well as hand-selected local charities in each of the 12 cities featured on the tour. These locally chosen charities span from Stop AAPI Hate in Los Angeles to Giving Kitchen in Atlanta, hand picked by local promoter offices of AEG Presents.

Further, the NRDC has backed prizes for donors, including a Grand Prize VIP flyaway to any city in the concert, plus general admission tickets at each venue and single day general admission tickets redeemable for points with the participating foundations. More prizes will be announced by Propeller and AEG Presents in the coming weeks.

Re:SET is innovative, creating a localized experience for fans. Each headliner curates the lineup for their respective days. Clairo, Dijon, nad Bartees Strange will be traveling with Boygenius. LCD Soundsystem are bringing Jamie XX and IDLES on the road, with select shows featuring Big Freedia and Rain. Steve Lacy is focused on genre-bending artists, with James Blake, Toro y Moi, and Fousheé joining him for the concert.

AEG Presents is at the forefront of the music and entertainment industry. With operation in five continents, the company has cultivated a deep community with artists and creative spaces. AEG Presents hosts iconic music festivals such as Coachella, Electric Forest, and Firefly. They promote global tours for artists such as Elton John and The Rolling Stones through their strong network with brands and venues.

Propeller pairs non-profit organizations with artists, events, and festivals. They use marketing campaigns to incentivize activism, rewarding donors with exclusive experiences. They have surpassed 1.3 million registered users, have raised over $5 million, and 7.6 million actions were taken on the platform last year. They have participated in noteworthy campaigns such as Lizzo’s Juneteenth giveback, which brought 10,000 actions by her fans on behalf of Black-led, grassroots organizations and Planned Parenthood, raising nearly $125,000.
