Harkening back to the days of Dog Blood, Skrillex and Boyz Noize have come together once again with their new track “Fine Day Anthem,” now available for streaming on all platforms via OWSLA/Boyznoise Records/Atlantic. An energetically charged track, “Fine Day Anthem” takes a turn from the heavier tracks Dog Blood was known for, delivering a catchy and captivating tune guaranteed to make listeners bounce and groove.
Recently previewed during Skrillex and Boyz Noize’s last minute back to back set in Berlin and first teased during Skrillex, Fred Again.. and Four Tet‘s historical headlining Coachella set, “Fine Day Anthem” is the first collaborative release from the two artist since their 2019 “Turn Off The Lights” EP. With both artists currently at the top of their game with their individual projects, “Fine Day Anthem” sets the tone for their respective careers as they continue to push the envelope of dance music. The cover art for “Fine Day Anthem,” created by digital artist Thomas Harrington Rawle, was inspired by rave photos from the 1990’s, and channels the energy and spirit of the scene from yesteryear.
“Fine Day Anthem” comes after Skrillex’s announcement regarding a third album for 2023 being in the works. This new album will be following the release of his previous two albums this year, Quest For Fire and Don’t Get Too Close. With a barrage of singles expected to drop soon, “Fine Day Anthem” appears to be the first of the singles released off the album, with more to come. As the world anxiously awaits new singles from the album, for now, “Fine Day Anthem” has been bestowed upon listeners’ ears and builds the ever-rising hype behind Skrillex’s next album.
