Ani Brava is a newcomer in the singer/songwriter scene but has made quite an impression already. Splitting her time between Tokyo and LA, Ani made a storming debut with her first single, “Homicide.” Gaining support from areas such as Complex, Before The Data, and more, she quickly announced herself as one to watch in the realms of electronic pop. Having spent much of the past few years based in Tokyo working on a film, she is currently gearing up to release her debut project, set to drop later this year.

Her newest single, “Origami,” continues to establish her place in the electro-pop scene. Showcasing honeyed vocals over a beautifully poised arrangement, this enchanting track is both ethereal and grounding. Complementing the rich vocal performance are gorgeous piano chords and slow-rolling synths. A sense of calmness washes over listeners as Ani effortlessly flows between verses and chorus. Shimmering elements bring out the allure and grace in the lyrics – a delicate message of feeling safe with someone you love.
