NIVA is a Swedish act from Skövde who creates AOR and melodic rock outputs for the World, served with melodies in a Nordic way, in a nicely packaged productions. NIVA releases their first album back in 1994 entitled “No Capitulation” through Zero Records in Japan. The album “Gold From The Future” sees the Daylight in 2011 more than 17 years after their debut album, released exclusively for the Japanese market. In 2013, NIVA releases their third album entitled “Magnitude”, which has a broader impact on the AOR audience. Next release is the “Incremental IV” which was delivered to the German stores in August 2014. The title “Relievin’ Rain” was planned to be the sequel to “No Capitulation” back in 1995. A mastering session was required to complete the release which then was available in 2015. Latest full-length album is entitled “Atmospherical” that hits the market in October 2016. This release is a melodic rock album featuring elements from the traditional AOR and melodic rock genre, released through the label NIVA Music Group.
Released back in 2013, the album ‘Magnitude’ features the song, ‘Never Say Goodbye’, and still to this day holds it’s catchyness with powerful guitar riffs and melodic harmonizing.
