From festivals to the club floors, MORTEN and ARTBAT are ready to make you groove with their new release, a collaboration with Swedish singer-songwriter Bonn titled “Hollow.”

The track allows Bonn’s powerhouse vocals to shine. A dark, gritty musical foundation built by the dance music superstars provides the singer with the perfect atmosphere to croon about love coming to a crossroads.

MORTEN, a Denmark-born and LA-based producer, said this collaboration provides the space for each artist’s individual skillsets to shine.

“ARTBAT and I are combining our sound and energy, and it’s an incredible experience to collaborate with friends on this track. It’s truly the best of both worlds. With amazing vocals from Bonn, “Hollow” combines our unique styles. Stepping into the darker underground sounds of ARTBAT and joining forces with them has been an amazing journey.”

MORTON developed the “Future Rave” genre of EDM alongside fellow powerhouse David Guetta, a genre that flipped the dance music scene on its head with its fusion of underground production and main-stage appeal.

When combined with ARTBAT’s mastery of melodic house & techno production that has made them one of the scene’s most in-demand electronic music artists, the result is a beautifully intense amalgamation of electronic styles.

One sign of an incredible producer is the ability to not only collaborate with, but uplift a vocalist while still leaving their stamp on a track’s sound. “Hollow” is the perfect atmosphere for Bonn to showcase his vocal prowess. Although it is a vocal-driven track, the production from MORTEN and ARTBAT is undeniably infectious.

This meeting of the minds between these producers sucks you into a new world. The sonic landscape sucks you in with its arpeggiated synths, as they are able to dictate just how delicate or intense these sonic elements hit the listener’s ear. At the conclusion of the first chorus, it’s the chest-thumping bassline and muddy synth punches that are sure to make any dance floor come alive.

To feel the music for yourself, you can catch MORTEN and ARTBAT live before the year ends. If you can’t make a show, you can find “Hollow” anywhere you stream your music!
