On May 23, 2025, Cradle of Filth delivered a mesmerizing performance at Sacramento’s Ace of Spades to end their Deliciously Live tour. The band showcased their latest album, The “Screaming of the Valkyries”, alongside classic fan favorites, reaffirming their status in the extreme metal scene.
Opening the evening, a band from the Pacific Northwest, Uada enveloped the venue in a shroud of atmospheric black metal. The band, known for their hooded appearances and minimal stage lighting, created an immersive experience that emphasized their music’s haunting melodies and ferocious rhythms. Tracks like “Snakes & Vultures,” “Djinn,” and “Black Autumn, White Spring” resonated with the audience, showcasing Uada’’s ability to blend aggression with melody seamlessly.
