When it comes to delivering a music festival experience that’s both immersive and intentional, Nashville’s Deep Tropics Music, Art & Style Festival continues to set the bar. While other festivals may dazzle with opulence, Deep Tropics builds something far more grounded, uniting sound, sustainability, and community under one carefully curated banner.
Returning to the Bicentennial Park this August 15-16, Deep Tropics once again proves that a world-class lineup can coexist with a mindful ethos. Headlining this year’s event is Grammy-nominated DJ and label-head Chris Lake, whose dynamic sets are powered by his global influence. He’s joined by an impressive roster including Subtronics, MPH, Aluna, CLOONEE, Alison Wonderland, Dusky, and over 30 forward-thinking artists who represent the cutting edge of dance music.

But Deep Tropics isn’t just about who’s on stage. It’s about how the experience leaves a lasting imprint, not just on attendees but on the planet and local community.
Proudly crowned “North America’s greenest music festival,” Deep Tropics is produced by Full Circle Presents and powered by its non-profit group, Deep Culture. With a commendable track record of diverting up to 96% of waste from landfills, it’s not only climate-positive but also redefining what festivals can look like when sustainability isn’t just an afterthought, but rather a core principle of the event.
For 2025, that mission deepens with new additions to the Deep Culture program. The Speakeasy Stage, hosted in a climate-controlled tent, will feature conversations led by artist and activist Madame Gandhi, diving into subjects like mental health and regenerative culture. Complementary workshops and interactive sessions across the festival grounds will further invite attendees to engage, reflect, and connect as they dance all weekend.
Inclusivity and innovation also take center stage with the launch of the Waveclub series at Drift, a boutique hotel in Nashville. Kicking off with an all-female lineup, Waveclub will extend throughout the summer, hosting a transformative August weekend that merges music, community, and wellness. Watch the Waveclub preview below.
Visually, Deep Tropics is nothing short of surreal. Its otherworldly stage designs range from Meru, a temple-inspired house music stage, to the floral Lotus for bass music, and the circular Congo stage designed for an all-encompassing experience. Art installations throughout the park bring life to the grounds, offering a stimulating, multi-sensory journey at every turn. Plus, with the venue nestled in downtown Nashville, it’s the perfect jumping-off point to explore the city’s food, art, and nightlife.
More than a festival, Deep Tropics is a vibrant movement; a sanctuary where creativity flourishes, community deepens, and sustainability leads the way. For those craving an experience that lingers long after the final beat, this summer stop provides a journey into joy, purpose, and lasting connection.
