In what promises to be a monumental year for j-hope, the BTS member is gearing up for his first-ever solo world tour, ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE.’ Initially announced last month, this tour marks a historic achievement as he becomes the first South Korean solo artist to headline a U.S. stadium show. The anticipation surrounding his solo endeavors has skyrocketed, especially with the recent news that he will also be headlining Lollapalooza Berlin in July.
The ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ world tour will kick off with three nights at Seoul’s KSPO Dome from Feb. 28 to March 2, all available for global live streaming via Weverse. Following this launch, the North American leg begins on March 13 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. j-hope will then travel across major cities, including Chicago, San Antonio, Oakland, and Mexico City, before concluding with two stadium shows at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on April 4 and April 6. This groundbreaking tour will encompass 31 performances across 15 cities worldwide, showcasing j-hope’s electrifying stage presence and artistry.
As a trailblazer in the industry, j-hope has already made significant strides in his solo career. He was the first South Korean artist to headline a major U.S. music festival with his memorable performance at Lollapalooza 2022, setting the stage for his continued global success. His genre-spanning collaborations, from 2019’s “Chicken Noodle Soup” with Becky G to 2023’s “on the street” with J. Cole, highlight his versatility and innovative spirit. His latest Special Album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, further solidifying his status as a solo act.
