Having set sail from the vibrant port of Miami on January 6th and charted a course for the tropical paradise of Belize, the Friendship Cruise aboard the Norwegian Joy delivered an exhilarating week of sun, sea, and unparalleled entertainment. True to it’s reputation, this year’s festivities exceeded all expectations, delivering non-stop music, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.

The highlight of the festival was undeniably the epic 24-hour private island party on Belize, headlined by none other than Skrillex. Skrillex was a much anticipated artist on the festival lineup. What better way to see such an icon perform than on a private island party? Against the backdrop of palm-fringed beaches and crystal-clear waters, attendees danced the night away, swept up in infectious energy of Skrillex’s electrifying performance.

The music didn’t stop there! Legendary artists such as Bob Moses, Chris Lorenzo, Destructo, and Desert Hearts kept the party going on deck, ensuring that there was never a dull moment throughout the voyage. Despite the stellar lineup of musicians, passengers also had the chance to enjoy comedy sets from the hilariously funny Nick Thune and Martin Urbano. For those who were craving a bit of sultry excitement, the ‘Queen of Burlesque’ Dita Von Teese dazzled audiences with a striptease that left jaws dropping in awe.

The mastermind responsible for curating this spectacular event was none other than Gary Richards, better known as Destructo. With nearly 30 years in the electronic music scene and event creation, Richards brought his expertise to the Friendship 2024 cruise, ensuring that every moment was filled with magic and wonder. From his infamous Sunrise Sermon at the private island party, to the late-night dance parties on deck, Richard’s vision and passion for creating unforgettable experiences shone through at every turn.

But beyond the music and entertainment, Friendship 2024 was about so much more! It was about love, community, and the bonds that were forged along the way. As passengers disembarked from the Norwegian Joy on January 11th, they carried with them not only memories of epic parties and legendary performances, but also the warmth of newfound friendships and the promise of future adventures yet to come.

For those who missed out on the magic of Friendship 2024, there’s good news! Pre-bookings for Friendship 2025 are now available, promising another incredible journey filled with music, laughter, and adventure.
